Introduction

What has been your interest and experience of media to date?

I have a keen interest in various types of media including; Television, Film, Music,  Magazines & Newspapers. My main interest comes in Television an Film, having creating 2 short films and a music video already, the most enjoyable process of making these, for me came through the editing process. This is because the pre-production and production in my opinion, is both very stressful but enjoyable at the same time, but it is the editing where you film/video finally comes together and you get to have you can finally turn basic filming into great sequences, and put together your film. I have also created a Magazine Cover, Contents and Double page spread, however didn't think this wasn't my "cup of tea" as your options are limited during pre-production. What would you like it to be in future?

In the future I'm not 100% sure what it is I would like to do, specifically I would like to be part of a post production team of some sort, involving editing, as I think it is when I'm editing where my ability in media is best suited.

What media are you interested in as both consumer and producer?

My main interest comes in film, I was not very interested in film until I started my Moving Image Arts, A level course, which is when I became very interested and wanted to find out more about certain aspects of film, which is where I found my love of Film Noir movies, discovering numerous films with different takes on the genre, broadening my knowledge on films and giving me an in depth look at how characters portray themselves in these types of films. I also have the same interest in Television, enjoying a range of shows from Top Gear to The Walking Dead.
